Rule 7
Actions can be extended

(1) For the purpose of Section 11 of the Act: The concerned officer shall give at least three days time to the victim to express his opinion.
(2) If the victim submits his opinion in writing within the time given as per sub-rule (1) or before such time is given, the victim shall have his opinion stamped and if he has expressed it verbally, it shall be recorded and read to the victim and his signature shall be attached.
(3) If the victim does not come to express his opinion according to the Act and these regulations or if he refuses to express his opinion, the concerned officer shall prepare a document of the same and attach a missile.
(4) Probation or parole officer or legal practitioner who has received an order from the court to prepare a pre-sentence report according to the prevailing law shall give at least seven days time to the victim to express his opinion while preparing such report.
(5) When the victim expresses his opinion: He should express his opinion only on matters related to the offense or the case related to him.
(6) Notwithstanding anything else written in this rule, if the victim is not present within the time provided for the victim to express his opinion or if he refuses to express his opinion, the concerned officer may proceed with his action.
